iCore dissemination activities reached a wide IEEE audience this month thanks to the presence in two international events. The first dissemination activity was the presentation of an article by Marc Roelands (Alcatel-Lucent, Belgium) entitled “IoT Service Platform Enhancement Through 'In-Situ' Machine Learning of Real-World Knowledge”. These results from iCore were presented during the session on M2M Infrastructures and Data at the 35th IEEE LCN – Local Computer Networks (see this link).
The second dissemination event took place during the 5th GIIS – Global Information Infrastructure and Networking Symposium sponsored by IEEE Communication Society. Here iCore Project Coordinator Raffaele Giaffreda (CREATE-NET) was invited to give a keynote on “Cognitive Management of Objects and Applications for the Internet of Things” (presented slides can be found here).
